Published by Victor Gollancz, 1952, First ed. second impression before publication.

This beautiful book is rebound in a traditional leather quarter bound style.
It has a grey leather spine with Italian decorative printed paper sides of soft blue and white.
Its endpapers are grey and its new white ribbon and soft grey endbands compliment its binding.
The spine is lettered in gold.

There is some light foxing to page edges and a few small instances in the text.
There is a black mark to the bottom page edges and a closed tear to the bottom of one page, else this is a nice copy with clean and clear text and a new tight binding.
