Published by Jonathan Cape in 1962, 3rd printing. Issued in the same year as the true first.

Binding
This copy has been recently rebound and has a brand new, mid-brown, full leather binding. The leather is beautifully grained and has been lettered in black at the bottom of the front cover. The spine has no lettering.

Condition
The text block is in good condition with some light foxing to page edges and a few marks to the top edge (please see photographs). Internally there is a small discolouration to the top of the first two page edges and a small patch to the first page of chapter one (pictured).
It has a number written neatly in pen at the bottom of the copyright page, apart from these small imperfections internally it is clean and bright.

This is a unique copy of this title and would make an unusual and interesting gift.
