This copy has been rescued from its original poor condition binding and been rebound in a quarter cloth style.

It has a beautiful purple cloth spine and a dazzling black and gold art deco style hand made paper for its sides. It has been lettered in gold on the spine and new purple endpapers and endbands. It has a few black and white pictures through the text.

Internally the book is a little foxed and worn, having been printed on Wartime Economy paper, with a crease on page 105 and a tear to the bottom of page 35. The last page is the most marked (pictured) but all of the text is perfectly readable and there is no previous owners marks.
