BINDING
 
This collection has been recently rebound in a quarter binding style.
The books have a green (Villette, Wuthering Heights and The Tenant of 
Wildfell Hall), red (Shirley and Agnes Grey), or blue (Jane Eyre and The 
Professor) cloth spine.
The red and green have Italian paper cases, multi-coloured feathers outlined with gold and the blue volumes have blue feathered paper outlined in gold.
Each book has complimentary coloured endpapers and endbands and has had its top edge sprinkled in the colour of its binding.
Each book has a spine label whose position is staggered so that when they are together on a shelf they form a shallow v shape 
(please see photographs).
 
CONDITION
All bindings are as new.
Internally the books are clean and bright with no marks.
 
Books are roughly 9"x6"
